Publishing History: Issued by Guelph Gay Equality (GGE) from 1977, May - 1990, August. Issued by Guelph Gay & Lesbian Equality (GGLE) from 1990, September - 1993, April. Issued by Guelph Gay, Lesbian & Bisexual Equality (GGLBE) from 1993, May - 1995, September. There appear to have been a total of 181 issues published over the nineteen-year span; 154 of these are in the Guelph Queer Equality (GQE) Collection. The Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives (CLGA) holds 27 issues that we have been unable to locate in the Guelph Gay Equality (GQE) Collection.

The centre laid-in sheet had on one side an excerpt from an article in the Toronto Star by Tom Harpur; the bottom half of the other side (just below the calendar of events for February 1995) appears to be a continuation of that article. We have reversed the order of the 2 pages of the central sheet so as to conform to the convention of the Newsletter in which the date of the issue appears on the right-hand side of the 2-page spread.

This copy of the final Newsletter in the Guelph Queer Equality Collection suffered probably the worst water damage in the entire set. All the pages in the copy found in the Guelph Queer Equality Collection suffered severe water damage near the top; legibility of text is not affected.
