tri-Pride 2011: Unlimited
2011, May 28 (Saturday) - June 4 (Saturday)

Historical note: tri-Pride Week proceeded without incident until the big celebration scheduled for Saturday, June 4 - when a massive rain storm interrupted set-up just prior to noon. After the storm ended, there were standing pools of water on the grass of Roos Island, which made it unsafe to use electrical equipment; as a result, it was necessary to cancel the festivities on Roos Island. It was, however, possible to arrange to have some of the acts appear at short notice later in the day at various local venues. For different reasons, the big festival was not held on Roos Island in the following years, which was a major disappointment for the local rainbow community.
