After establishing three years of sound financial books, SPECTRUM was in a position to apply to the Province of Ontario for Supplementary Letters Patent in preparation for applying to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for charitable status. A paralegal with the Goverment of Ontario helped SPECTRUM transform the Objects of the corporation into a form that would be better received by the CRA than the original Objects of 2013. The request for charitable status in Ontario was granted on 2016, May 13. The image file reproduces the revised Letters Patent. SPECTRUM did not receive the CRA charitable status until a year later.
